The Knowledge Services team at NES provide a range of training for health and social care staff across Scotland.

Finding information lunch and learn basics

29th April - 13th May

A new beginner level series of bitesize, interactive lunchtime sessions on Finding information, delivered over three short focused sessions. All last 40 minutes with time for questions. Register for all or as many of the sessions as you are interested in.

This module offers a useful introduction and practical guidance to get you started, giving you the confidence to conduct effective literature searches as part of research, projects and clinical work.

Our eLearning and support site include clear, practical advice to help staff confidently handle copyright in everyday work - from using images and articles to working with AI.

Journeying from pre-planning and research ethics, through the process of writing and submitting a paper or case report, to considering the technical aspects of referencing, this series of events has something for everyone!
