Using your library account
Your Library account (My Account) lets you
- Save searches and resources
- Create personal tagged collections
- Access library resources quickly and easily
- Export results
- Manage your loans
- Request materials
To access your library account click on the sign in option at the top of the library search.
By clicking on your name you will see the full details of your account.
Saving searches, results and exporting references
You can save items and searches to an area called My Favourites and must be signed in to access this area.
Print resources: borrowing, renewing and reserving
An NHS Scotland OpenAthens account gives you more than access to online resources. It also gives you access to print materials throughout the NHS Scotland Library Network.
To borrow items, you will need your library card or NHS Scotland OpenAthens account.
For non-NHS staff we recommend checking with the local health board library regarding external borrowing options.
Finding and ordering material not in The Knowledge Network collections
Library Search results offer you material contained in the subscriptions or collections that we have online or print access to. Sometimes you want to find or access material that we do not have either in print or as an online subscription.
